Unbelievable Fish Story. Pike Eating Bass Frozen In Ice.

A week ago my brother and I took a neat picture of these 2 frozen fish in the ice and posted it on Facebook. The picture went viral on the internet and some thought this was faked. We decided to go back to the channel where we saw this and cut it out of the ice to share this neat phenomenon with everything.

Man punches a kangaroo in the face to rescue his dog #Kangaroo #RooPunch

"A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs. One day while hunting one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear (boars have tusks like knives), the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run in to save both parties. You can see the dog trying to escape, wanting nothing to do with the kangaroo. The big buck kangaroo releases the dog when the owner gets close but then moves in to try and attack the human. A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel the owner easily , so he backs off a couple of times giving the kangaroo some space but he eventually changes the roo's mind with a punch to the snout, as it kept coming forward. The punch stops the roo and makes him think about the situation, giving the owner and the dog time to disengage from the big wild animal and leaving it to hop off and I suppose wonder about what just happened. We laughed at the absurdity of the situation and at how unfortunate it was for the dog and kangaroo. Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse. Young Kailem unfortunately lost his brave battle with cancer two days ago, so this hunt is part of the treasured memories his family and friends have. Having a dog get tangled up with a roo was never our aim or intention and we were happy no animals were hurt in the incident."

Great White Shark Gets Stuck In Cage With Diver Inside

On a recent great white shark cage diving trip we experienced a very rare event, a shark breaching the side of the cage. What might appear to be an aggressive great white shark trying to attack the cage, this is not the case. These awesome sharks are biting at large chunks of tuna tied to a rope. When a great white shark lunges and bites something, it is temporarily blinded. They also cannot swim backwards. So this shark lunged at the bait, accidentally hit the side of the cage, was most likely confused and not able to swim backwards, it thrust forward and broke the metal rail of the cage. There was a single diver inside the cage. He ended up outside the bottom of the cage, looking down on two great white sharks. The diver is a very experienced dive instructor, remained calm, and when the shark thrashed back outside the cage, the diver calmly swam back up and climbed out completely uninjured. The boat crew did an outstanding job, lifting the top of the cage, analyzing the frenzied situation, and the shark was out after a few long seconds. Everyone on the boat returned to the cages the next day, realizing this was a very rare event. The boat owner, captain, and crew are to be commended for making what could've been a tragic event into a happy ending. I'm sure God and luck had a bit to do with it too!

Deputies Free Bear Stuck in Car

Here in JeffCo, we’re used to our fair share of animal-related calls. Snakes, marmots, deer, elk, bobcat, bear. We get them all.

What’s different is when we can’t figure HOW an animal did what it did as was the case this morning when Deputies Tillman and McLaughlin responded to a call of a bear that had somehow entered AND locked itself inside a vehicle.

No windows were broken. The door handles weren’t the kind you lift up. And yet somehow this medium-sized bear managed to open a door, crawl inside and close the door behind him. Deputies could tell by all the moisture on the windows that he’d clearly been inside for a while. Given the size of the bear, they also wondered if there was a momma bear nearby.

After some deliberation, they decided the safest and quickest action would be to pop open the hatch to release the bear. The challenge was that none of the doors easily opened due to the bear’s destruction of the inside of the car, including ripping off the door panels.

The hatch door wouldn’t open with the key fob button so Deputy McLaughlin had to manually open it while Deputy Tillman stood nearby with his shotgun just in case.

Thankfully once the door was open the bear had no interest in deputies, only in getting back into the wild.

Good work, deputies, and we hope this young bear stays far away from cars in the future.

Fish Caught With Snake In Mouth #SnakeBait

A fisherman got the shock of his life when he reeled in a catch and discovered a deadly SNAKE still alive in its mouth. Andy Warton, 44, was fishing on ANZAC Day weekend (April 23 – 25) around Melville Island in the Tiwi Islands in Australia’s Northern Territory. As he was being filmed bringing in an estuary cod Andy can be heard exclaiming ‘this is a cod and it’s got a snake in its mouth’. Andy, who is a keen Darwin-based recreational angler, then rescues the unlucky reptile from the jaws of the fish and throws them both back into the water.
