"Todd and I left San Diego Bay at dawn on 9/10/15 to go offshore spearfishing/fishing on Todd's 20' panga. About 5 miles off Point Loma, we saw the animals but couldn't determine exactly what they were until they approached our boat. There was a pod of about 30 of them, young and old, small and large." -Ben

Incredible stunning slow motion video of jumping crocodile

This stunning video was taken on the Adelaide River near Darwin, Capital of the Northern Territory of Australia.

Terrifying moment giant crocodile leaps clear out of the water to grab hanging meat

Saltwater crocodile was captured on video as it propelled its entire body out of water in an attempt to grab a piece of hanging meat

Video was taken by photographer Trevor Frost for a project on crocodiles sponsored by National Geographic Society's Expedition council

A saltwater crocodile has been captured as it leaps out of the water using force from its to tail to grab a piece of hanging meat.

In the video a big chunk of red meat is seen dangling from a rope above the crocodile before the large reptile propels its entire body out of the water in an attempt to grab its next meal.

The video was taken by photographer Trevor Frost for a project on crocodiles sponsored by the National Geographic Society's Expeditions council.

The footage of the crocodile was posted to Instagram on Friday along with a caption by Frost who explains how crocodiles have incredibly strong tails.

'Their tails propel them in the water like torpedoes from a submarine,' he wrote.

'In fact, as you see here, their tails are so strong that they can propel their entire body out of the water. Crocodiles are so cool. Stay tuned for more amazing crocodile photos and videos.'

Humpback Whale Breaches on Top of Kayakers

On our 08:00 am Sanctuary Cruises whale tour, just outside the harbor in Moss Landing, two kayakers on a tandam kayak were almost crushed to death by a massive, near full-size humpback whale. We stopped to see a large aggregation of humpbacks feeding and carrying on with random acts of hijinks. There were also a lot of kayakers right in the middle of it all. Humpbacks were coming up next to and in the middle of many kayakers. It was amusing. It's all fun and games until someone gets jumped on. The next thing we knew, this thing launched right on top of these two kayakers. That was heavy. The video was shot by Sanctuary Cruises passenger Larry Plants.

Snapping Turtle Grabs Duck and Won't Let Go

Canoeing the Seine river in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we say a duck struggling to swim across the river. Thinking it was caught in fishing line etc we went to help when we found the turtle eating at the ducks foot. The duck had too much fight in him to let the situation be, so we made sure he got free.

Watch as he screams for his life trying to land this Giant Goliath Grouper. This is the Raw Footage of the take along with a quick slow motion rod break. Killer Whale Appears and Bites Dude's Paddle Board

Luke Reilly was stand-up paddle boarding about 200m offshore yesterday when an orca "popped up" next to him.

The killer whale checked him out for about 5 minutes and even had a nibble on his board.

At 598 meters (1,962 ft) below the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana, ROV Hercules encountered a magnificent sperm whale. The whale circled Hercules several times and gave our cameras the chance to capture some incredible footage of this beautiful creature. Encounters between sperm whales and ROVs are incredibly rare.
