Download the song on iTunes

Song name - Soul Switch

Link to Hyder's channel (the cat in the video)

These are so simple but always so amazing to see.

I did 3 anamorphic illusions. Rubiks cube, a roll of tape and a shoe. Which one is your favorite? I like the shoe the best.

Oh and lets not for the kitty cat. Hyder thought she was anamorphic for a bit there.

I've included the images in this video for you to download and try yourself. Print them on 8.5 X 14. Cut the paper any way you'd like to add more of an effect.

Hooraaaay flexagons! Next hexaflexagon video in one week. Happy October!

Historical Note: This video is based on a true story. Arthur H. Stone really did invent the hexaflexagon after playing with the paper strips he'd cut off his too-wide British paper, and really did start a flexagon committee (which we'll hear more about in the next video). The details and dialogue, however, are my own invention.

More info coming soon, along with patterns. But in the mean time you can find instructions and printable patterns on other parts of the internet.

Is Homestuck the Ulysses of the Internet? | Idea Channel | PBS

Published on Sep 5, 2012 by
If you're unfamiliar, Homestuck is a webcomic created Andrew Hussie that is over 5000 PAGES so far! And it's still not complete!! It has a strong cult following, even though it presents incredible challenges to its readers; including a giant cast of characters, huge walls of text, and animated flash games that you must beat in order to continue. In in its own weird way, Homestuck is a lot like James Joyce's Ulysses, where only the strongest, most dedicated readers make it through to the end. Most people don't expect such expansive and daunting works to find a home on the internet, but Homestuck has done it, illustrating that its followers' time and effort may actually enhance rather than lessen their devotion.

I created the song in the video. You can download it from iTunes or Amazon

Song Name: To Zero

The final animation is sort of an encore of 2 previous popular animations. There was pacman and there was the gun. So I combined them. Pacman eating the bullets from the gun.

Below are links to the images found in this video so you can print them out and try it yourself. You'll have to print the template onto a transparency. If you have an ink jet printer you have to use a special transparency made specifically for ink jet printers. When you print the images and the template make sure to print them all at the same size
if any of the sizes change the effect will not work.

Also, the kitty in the video is my new kitty cat. I found her crying in a hole in a field. Her name is Hyder and she has her own channel.
