This is freaking insane. I got really baked then check out what I just caught on video. So I'm walking out front, taking out the recyclables when I see this huge fluttering out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was a hummingbird but it was down low by the wall it turns out it was a monster grasshopper I think. So I start to record to see how close of a picture I can get and it flies away. Once airborne A bird dives and out of nowhere and snatches it in mid air. It scared the shit out of me. Man that was nuts!

This is tower climber Kevin Schmidt making the climb to the very top of the now inactive KDLT TV analog broadcast antenna near Salem, SD.

It was a beautiful fall day for a climb and the views are stunning! I would suggest watching at 1080 HD in full screen to get a small taste of the experience.

The International Space Station (ISS) crosses the moon! It required some setup and find the exact location as even one kilometer difference in the location will change the pass position.

I used two cameras, the first clip is from a Canon 700d with Simga 18-250 at max zoom and the closeup is with Canon SX50 at max zoom (1200mm equiv).

I was not sure that I actually got it or that the ISS really passed the moon, and even when I looked at the small camera screen just after taking the photo I was not sure if it is good. Only at home on a regular screen I was very happy that I manage to take the video.
